Tonight’s post is going to be a quick and simple one from my phone. I just wanted to get this recipe out there in time to save people from nasty green bean casserole on Thanksgiving.
24 oz broccoli florets
1 can cream of mushroom soup
6 oz french fried onions, divided
1 cup sour cream
1.5 cups shredded cheddar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix broccoli, soup, half of the onions, the sour cream and 1 cup cheddar cheese together in large bowl.
Place broccoli mixture in lightly greased 2.5 quart casserole.
Bake, uncovered for 30 minutes or until broccoli is done and mixture is hot and bubbly.
Top with remaining cheese and onions. Bake 15 minutes longer.
